Audience measurement and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to measure how many people visit the site, which pages they read and which merchant buttons they click (an "affiliate_click" event with the merchant name and the position of the button). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga, kept for up to 2 years. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising: advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization stay denied.

  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics is off by default. A banner asks for your consent; no measurement cookie is set unless you accept.
  • Other regions, including the United States: analytics is on by default and the banner lets you decline. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics is turned off.
  • Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key frr-cookie-consent). You can change it at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page; declining deletes the _ga cookies.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying visitors.

The setup builder keeps your choices only in the page address (URL parameters): nothing is stored on a server.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes technical connection data (IP address, browser, page requested) to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We use this data neither to identify you nor for advertising.

Links to merchants

When you click a merchant link, you leave FlightRigRadar. On its own website, that merchant, Amazon or its affiliate program may set cookies, for example to attribute a possible commission (see the affiliate disclosure). Those cookies are covered by the merchant's privacy policy, which we recommend you read.

Emails

If you write to us at [email protected], we use your message and address only to reply to you. They are never sold or shared.

Your rights

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

EEA, UK and Swiss residents (GDPR): analytics relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; replies to emails rely on our legitimate interest. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. Google may process data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected].
