4 independent axes

Axis count stated by MOZA.

What changes in the cockpit

Out of the box it's a fighter throttle with an afterburner detent. Clip on the Airbus or Boeing module and the same base moves to the airline side of the hangar. The four independent axes come with built-in detents for throttle, speedbrake and flaps, and MOZA adds configurable virtual detents on top.

The panel is the other half: 10 multifunction buttons, 3 rotary knobs, 3 toggle switches and a gear lever. Putting the gear down with a lever instead of the G key is a habit worth building at home.

Desk and the MOZA setup

It connects over USB, or into a MOZA flight base such as the AB9 through RJ11, one less cable to the PC. MOZA publishes no product weight, no sensor type and no clean button or lever count, so several cells in our spec table stay empty.

Budget honestly: the airliner modules are $39 each on top of the $199. The warranty on the throttle panel is one year.

Great if you…

  • fly fighters and liners and want one base for both
  • own or plan a MOZA AB9 stick base
  • want a gear lever, knobs and switches next to the levers

Skip it if…

  • you fly Airbus only: the TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition costs $69.01 less with fixed detents and reversers
  • you want a long warranty: one year here, two on the Honeycomb Bravo
  • you fly on a console

Better fit elsewhere?

The Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant is $100.99 more for six levers, GA and airliner lever sets and an autopilot panel, with Mac and Xbox on the list. For pure Airbus, the Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition at $129.99 is hard to beat.

MOZA's force feedback AB9 base is the stick base that completes this throttle, at $499 instead of $549 on October 29, 2026, grip extra. All quadrants are in the best throttle quadrants.

The verdict

The MTQ is the flexible quadrant: fighter levers today, airliner modules tomorrow, a full panel and RJ11 into a MOZA base, $199 on October 29, 2026.

If you fly one type, buy the specialist. If you fly them all, this is the one base that keeps up. Check today's price at MOZA.
