What the Flight Pack changes

The pack is the interesting part. NLR says it adds a center-pole HOTAS mount, a yoke plate and two adjustable flight plates to the F-GT Elite, and lists Thrustmaster, Logitech, WINWING, VIRPIL and Honeycomb flight gear as compatible.

And here's the angle most buyers miss: NLR lists the F-GT Elite and the F-GT Elite 160 among the cockpits the pack fits. If one already sits in your room, the $199 pack is the whole story, not the full $1,298.

Room, seat and the real total

68.1 kg in all: 57.1 kg of cockpit plus 11 kg of pack. That much frame doesn't move when you haul on a yoke, and it doesn't move easily when you want to vacuum either.

The seat is extra. NLR recommends its ES1, ERS1 or ERS2 seats for Elite cockpits; we haven't checked those prices, so the real total sits above $1,298. NLR doesn't state a maximum user weight for this frame.

Great if you…

• already own an F-GT Elite and want to fly from it
• want the heaviest frame in our list under your controls
• mix HOTAS, yoke and side sticks and like a modular frame you can rearrange

Skip it if…

• you want the seat in the box: every other cockpit we list includes one
• you're starting from zero on a budget: the NLR Flight Simulator is $499 less, seat included
• the room is small and the floor is the limit

As a new purchase, the F-GT Elite with the Flight Pack is the expensive route to a home cockpit: $1,298 on October 29, 2026, seat not included. As an upgrade for an F-GT Elite you already own, it's a different and much better deal.
