Sensor type and axis resolution stated by WINCTRL.
The throttle is built around one fighter engine: a single lever on a rail with idle and afterburner detents, so you feel the line between military power and burner instead of reading it off the HUD. WINCTRL puts 4 axes and a built-in vibration module on the throttle grip.
The stick base uses a CAM and spring mechanism with 17° of deflection each way, read by 16-bit contactless Hall sensors. The throttle's main shaft is Hall effect and 16-bit as well, so contactless covers both hands where it counts.
WINCTRL doesn't publish a weight for the set, nor a total of axes and buttons for the combo, so those cells stay empty on our side. There's no twist axis either: rudder comes from pedals. All of that points to a solid desk with mounts, or a cockpit.
The bases take swappable WINCTRL grips, so the base is the part you keep and the grip is the part you can change later. It's PC only, with a one-year warranty.

Not sure you need a replica at all? The Logitech X56 H.O.T.A.S. gives you two throttles for $249.99. For pedals worth this kind of stick, the Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder pairs Hall sensors with toe brakes at $599.99. The full order is in the best HOTAS.
The Orion2 ViperAce is a focused F-16 set: Hall sensors on both bases, a real afterburner detent, vibration in the throttle grip and grips you can swap, $599.46 on October 29, 2026.
If the Viper is your airplane, it earns a hard look next to the Warthog. Check today's price at WINCTRL.
