The split throttle is the headline. Logitech says the twin levers have adjustable friction and can be locked together for single-engine craft, so you run each engine on its own in a twin, then lock them together for a Cessna. The T.16000M FCS HOTAS can't do that: it has one lever.
The stick reads pitch and roll with 16-bit Hall effect sensors. Then come the mini analog thumb sticks on both the stick and the throttle, four extra axes that Logitech pitches for 6DoF space sims. Strafing in Star Citizen without letting go of anything is the use case.
It's built for the desk: stick on the right, twin throttle on the left, 2.279 kg for the pair on the spec sheet. Logitech backs it with a two-year warranty, while our data has no US warranty figure for the Thrustmaster set.
One thing you won't find is a simple button count. Logitech's current page counts programmable controls across several modes rather than buttons, so we leave that cell empty instead of guessing. Plan a long evening of binding anyway: 13 axes is a lot to map.

If you fly twins or space, it's the HOTAS we'd buy. If you don't, keep the $80 and get the Thrustmaster.
