What changes on the flight deck

Takeoff stops being a key press. Thrust levers go forward into FLX or TO/GA, a gate you feel rather than a percentage you read, then back to CL when the climb starts. On the rollout, you lift into reverse. Thrustmaster's TCA Quadrant in this pack has Idle, Climb, Flex and TO-GA detents, and the reverser actually works.

The sidestick reads up to 14-bit on contactless H.E.A.R.T. magnetic sensors, and the quadrant goes up to 16-bit. The twist rudder locks, which you'll want the day pedals arrive.

Captain, first officer or desk?

Four swappable head button modules let you set the sidestick up for the captain's side, the first officer's or a center position. 1.45 kg for both units on the spec sheet, so it fits a normal desk without drama.

Weekend in a Cessna? Mechanical selectors switch the detents and the reverser off, so the levers move smoothly for airplanes that don't have gates. Note the platform: the spec sheet lists the pack for PC only.
