Going from a gamepad to a stick and throttle is the biggest jump this hobby offers per dollar. Pitch and roll move to your right hand, power moves to a lever under your left.
Rudder comes two ways: twist the grip, or use the rocker on the throttle. Try both on a crosswind landing and keep the one your hand prefers. One honest line from the spec sheet: Thrustmaster states the 16-bit resolution but not the sensor type, so we can't call it Hall effect.
The throttle detaches. Keep it clipped to the base as one compact unit, or set it apart on a desk or your lap if you fly from the couch. 2.06 kg for the set on the spec sheet: light enough to put away after the session.
Thrustmaster lists plug and play on PS5, PS4 and Windows 10/11 PCs. On PC it has more rivals, and it ranks 6 of 8 in our HOTAS ranking, mostly against sets that state more on paper.

On PC, the real question is the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS: Hall effect sensors on the stick, 30 buttons and a throttle on rails, for $60 more. If you want twin levers, the Logitech X56 H.O.T.A.S. has two for $249.99.
On Xbox, its sibling the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One costs $10 less. First setup? Our beginner flight sim setup shows where a stick like this fits, and the whole field is in the best HOTAS.
On PlayStation, this is the HOTAS to buy: the only one we list with PS5 support, a detachable throttle and two ways to fly rudder, $109.99 on October 29, 2026.
On PC it's a fair way in, but we'd put the extra $60 into the Thrustmaster with Hall sensors. Console pilot? Go check today's price.
