9.0Excellent · out of 10

If your yoke is a VelocityOne Flight and you fly on Xbox, these are the pedals built to plug into it. Hall sensors on every axis, toe brakes, two sets of pedals in the box, $319.99. Outside that pairing they're a harder sell, and they rank fifth of five in our pedal data.

  • Hall effect sensors on all axes with 10-bit axis data
  • Spring-loaded differential toe brakes, two sets of pedals and two spring sets in the box
  • Adjustable pedal width, metal construction, rubber pads and carpet spikes

Hall effect sensors with differential toe brakes

Sensor type and resolution stated by Turtle Beach.

What changes on the ground

Spring-loaded differential toe brakes for taxiing, a rudder for the crosswind, and Hall effect sensors on all of it. Contactless sensors don't wear the way potentiometers do, which is what you want under your feet for years of landings.

Read the resolution line too: Turtle Beach states 10-bit axis data, where the TPR states 16-bit. The fun part is in the box: two sets of pedals and two spring sets, so you can change the feel instead of living with it.

Desk, Xbox and the cable

On PC they connect directly. On Xbox, Turtle Beach routes them through the pass-through cable of the VelocityOne Flight, so the console plan only works if that yoke (or a compatible VelocityOne stick) is already on the desk.

Pedal width adjusts, the build is metal, and rubber pads plus carpet spikes handle both kinds of floor. Turtle Beach doesn't publish the weight or an axis count, and the warranty is one year.

Great if you…

  • fly a VelocityOne Flight on Xbox and want pedals that plug straight into it
  • want Hall sensors under your feet on a console
  • like swapping pedals and springs until the feel is right

Skip it if…

  • you fly on Xbox without a VelocityOne Flight on the desk
  • money is tight: the TFRP cost $190 less and also reach Xbox, through a Thrustmaster stick or yoke
  • you want a longer warranty. Honeycomb states two years for the Charlie.

Better fit elsewhere?

For $30 more, the Honeycomb Charlie Rudder Pedals bring Hall sensors on a belt transmission, 7.3 kg of metal and support for PC, Mac and Xbox. The Xbox catch moves rather than disappears: Honeycomb needs the Alpha XPC or its Xbox Hub.

On a budget, the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals (TFRP) are $129.99. All five sets are ranked in the best flight sim rudder pedals, and the console picture is in the best flight sim controls for Xbox.

The verdict

The VelocityOne Rudder makes the most sense as the second half of a VelocityOne Flight on Xbox: Hall sensors, toe brakes and swappable pedals for $319.99 on October 29, 2026.
